I did them by building GRE tunnels, then wrapping GRE inside IPSec.

It’s been a while so not sure if there is a simpler way, but then ran BGP over the GRE tunnel for dynamic routing

Kaushal,

    See [1] for a detailed for an exampling building from sources on
Ubuntu. I recommend installing whatever version your distro provides.
Also start with a simple example with pre-shared keys like [2].
